I know primarily my blog is about fashion and clothing but there are also a few other hobbies and loves in my life. One of these is the artwork of Beryl Cook. Beryl Cook is an artist from Plymouth in Devon, UK who sadly died earlier this year.

As a fan of her artwork, which usually features fat women in locations around Plymouth, I was pleased to see that Plymouth University is hosting an exhibition of her work including rare family portaits and private works. I’m hoping to go along soon and try to pick up some Beryl Cook prints for my house. If you are interested in going the exhibition lasts until December 20th.

Princess of the Posse is a ladies streetwear clothing label from New York and they are about to launch their Autumn 2008 line. Princess of the Posse look to blend up a mix of streetwear and urban clothing and serve it with a slice of high fashion. This means they create some unique clothing styles that are sure to make a splash. I wonder how long it will be before they mix a hoody with a corset.
