Denver Street Art Explosion From The Likes Of Obey At DNC
Recently at the Denver National Convention in Denver not only were the Democrats hitting the streets and campaigning, street artists from all over the USA hit the streets with their own campaign. Famous street artists like Obey clothingowner Shepard Fairey have been wheat pasting posters and spray painting walls with iconic images. Most of the street art is related to the upcoming US presidential election either encouraging people to vote or to vote for Democrat candidate Barack Obama.



Obey Clothing kingpin Shepard Fairey was arrested by Denver police for fly posting his Obama Hope and Progress posters onto public property. This artwork has become a common sight across the globe as the artwork has been stenciled and fly posted on walls. Obey clothinghave even produced the Obama Hope artwork as a t-shirt. There is a video circling the Internet featuring Shepard describing the arrest and the Denver Police Officer’s “Redneck attitude”.
